VisitEngland

VisitEngland is the strategic leadership body representing the public and private sector stakeholders of English tourism.  It works in partnership with VisitBritain, the Regional Development Agencies and local authorities, and the private sector, creating a national tourism strategy, optimising marketing investment, and developing the visitor experience across England.

The role of VisitEngland is to support England's tourism industry through encouraging domestic and international visitors to take business visits, holidays and day trips in England resulting in increased consumer spending.

They will do that by:

• Improving the perception of England as a good value destination for short breaks, holidays and day-trips
• Communicating the wide range of experiences and activities available in England
• Driving traffic to the enjoyengland.com website to encourage take-up of the offers available there
• Promoting the key brand characteristics of real, fun and indulgent
• Working with tourism businesses to drive excellence in the quality of England’s tourism experience
