The Visitor Information framework adds depth to the Strategy for Tourism in England’s Northwest.  The focus is to review the Visitor Information services on offer and improve these to increase visitor numbers and improve communications for potential visitors to encourage them to book to the Northwest.

We aim to produce world-class visitor information services that exceed the expectations of our visitors.  The aim of the Visitor Information Framework is to provide:

• Effective Information management: to provide high quality information provided through all appropriate channels

• Provide strategic direction: to give a strong strategic direction for investment in visitor information

• Achieve operational excellence: to ensure that all aspects of visitor information are provided in an efficient and effective manner.
