Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance schemes seek to give an objective assessment for consumers before they visit an attraction, accommodation, meeting food or faith venue about the quality and levels of facilities and services they can expect.

It is important to encourage operators of businesses to participate in nationally agreed quality schemes and raise standards in order to achieve the vision of celebrating and growing excellence.  The region’s policy is that we will only promote those accommodation businesses that have achieved a nationally or regionally agreed scheme.

There are a number of schemes that are operating in the Northwest for accommodation and attraction providers, restaurants, catering establishments and faith venues.  Further details on accommodation and attractions are contained in the web pages in this section or from the Tourist Boards who can provide guidance.
